Stay warm while snorkeling, swimming, or jet skiing in tropical seas with the Cressi Playa men's shorty wetsuit. This hoodless, one-piece wetsuit is made from 2.5mm double-lined neoprene, and includes an elastic Ultraspan neoprene braided seal on the arms and legs to minimize water infiltration. As a result, you'll feel warm when you reach those cold-water drifts in otherwise warm seas. The lightweight suit is also easy to put and take off thanks to the front zip, leaving the wearer free to move about when not in the water.

One size up fits perfect

After reading the other reviews I followed the advice and bought one size larger than the manufacturer recommends. I am 165 lbs. 5 ft 8 in, chest 38. The large fits me perfect. I am 55 years old so I don’t that perfect model body. I used it to snorkel in 78 degree water. This was just the right amount of warmth. I was able to stay in the water as long as I wanted. It also kept me warm when I got out of the water as I walked to my towel on the big beach.

I’m 5’9″ (175cm), 150lb (68kg) and ordered the M (#3) size. It feels a little tight but does a nice job keeping me warm in water in the 60’s. The front zipper is very convenient and the construction is of good quality. I give it 4 stars because the wetsuit seems to be slightly undersized.

Not bad

It does what it’s supposed to do, the only down side is that it’s hard to get off. Either get a friend to help get it off, or flail around for a few minutes until you get an arm free. Sizes run small too, so keep that in mind. There are sizing charts on their web site.

Way too small, otherwise OK

Like the other reviewers, I also agree this wetsuit runs very small, not just in the arms, but all over. Whatever size you may be in another manufacturer’s wetsuit, it’s probably a safe assumption to order one size up.

Good product – runs just a bit small

Order a large and found it fits reasonably well. A bit snug for a 5’7″ 160lb person. I do find it a bit difficult to get our of with the front zipper. Course I am getting older and a bit less flexible to be able to negotiate the shoulders off without pulling a muscle 🙂 … I would recommend going one size up.

My Cressi just came today and I thought I’d add another data point to the sizing issue with these suits. I heeded the warning of other reviewers and ordered what I thought was a size up. For the record: I’m 70″ tall, 185#, chest 42 and waist 34. According to the Cressi sizing charts I’m pretty much a “tweener” between XL and XXL. I ordered the XXL and the suit fits literally like a glove. The material is slightly stretched to fit around my trunk and to reach up to my shoulders, but feels pleasantly snug like a wetsuit should feel. I’d be curious what an XXXL would be like, but I’m keeping this one. A warning! Don’t climb into this thing unless there is someone handy to get you out when you are done. No way I could have done it myself…..five minutes of flailing around like a penguin and I was a sweaty mess….until my wife rescued me. In general, the suit appears to be well made and very attractive. I’ll update after it gets some use.

Advertized size looks undersized

The wetsuit is of high quality I like the design, that is the main reason I bought. Looks undersized or may be is targeted for young people, don’t know. I have been forced to reduced my belly a little before wearing it. I tried last week diving in Puerto rico. Excellent suit, I didn’t give a five because of the size issue.
